LCEC is honored to be just the second special needs Rotary Interact Club in the nation!
Sponsored by the Clifton Rotary Club, LCEC students, 9 and older, meet monthly to plan, organize and carry out community service projects in partnership with the Rotary Club. Past projects include a Food/Clothing Drive and Autism Awareness Fundraiser.
A LCEC education nurtures the whole child, with lessons that need to be learned outside of a classroom. Please stay tuned for more information!!
"Help The Homeless"
"Help the Homeless" was the first project planned and implemented by the LCEC Rotary Interact Club. They organized a food and clothing drive to help those in need. They partnered with a local shelter for homeless mother's with children called "Hope Through Care." They made posters and flyers, helping to distribute them in the community. The result was THREE VEHICLES worth of donations! Very successful first project!
